What you’ll do
This is your chance to join Deswik’s Asia Pacific (APAC) consulting team as a Mining Consultant. Reporting to our Adelaide office, you will be the trusted expert helping customers succeed across South Australia, APAC and beyond.

• Work with Deswik’s highly regarded mine planning software products across multiple customers, commodities, mine types and operations
• Provide extensive consulting services including mine design, production planning, scheduling, optimisation, and mine closure planning
• Support our customers in implementing Deswik’s software solutions, providing technical expertise and training solutions across pre-sales, implementation, and post-sales support.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers, identifying needs and architecting effective solutions.
• Deliver advanced technology to the mining industry with our enterprise and optimisation products
• Work alongside highly experienced engineers, geologists and software professionals
• Provide input into software improvements and assist with scoping and testing new features.

We are looking for an underground mining professional, ideally with exposure to Deswik software. You will have experience in mine planning including design and scheduling, or other related technical services, with additional exposure to general mine projects and studies.
  

• Degree in Mining Engineering
• 5+ years’ experience in underground mining in mine planning or mining consultancy roles
• Excellent mine planning software skills (Deswik software a distinct advantage)
• Demonstrated experience in mine design and planning
• A flair for consulting and managing customer relationships
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
• A passion for innovation and a desire to grow and learn
• Open to travel to sites across Australia and potentially internationally
