This is your chance to join a global leader and make a real impact. As a Senior Mining Consultant, you will be the trusted expert helping customers succeed across APAC and beyond, reporting directly to the Country Manager.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver consulting projects including mine design, production planning, scheduling, optimization, and mine closure planning.
- Implement Deswik software solutions and provide technical expertise for pre-sales, implementation, and post-sales support.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, identifying needs and architecting effective solutions.
- Deliver user training and create training content for Deswik customers.
- Support business development through presentations, demonstrations, and proposal preparation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and mentor junior consultants.
- Lead project planning and execution, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Provide input into software improvements and assist with scoping and testing new features.
- Maintain strong industry networks and represent Deswik at professional forums.
- Drive change management and process improvement initiatives for client projects.
- Contribute to feasibility studies, cost modeling, and integration of Deswik products with third-party systems.
What You Bring
- B.E./B.Tech in Mining Engineering (essential).
- 10+ years’ experience in mining consultancy and mine planning roles, including underground metal mining.
- Proficiency in Deswik Suite or similar mine planning software.
- Strong understanding of underground and opencast metal mining processes.
- Experience in feasibility studies, cost modeling, and mine closure planning.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to travel as required.
