As a Senior Mining Consultant, you’ll combine your mining experience with Deswik technology to help customers solve complex planning challenges and improve the way they work. 

We’re particularly interested in candidates with underground mining experience, however we will also consider experienced open pit mining professionals with strong mine planning capability. 

What you will be doing

• Deliver mine planning, software implementation and consulting projects for Deswik customers.

• Train, support and advise customers, becoming a trusted technical partner across their operations.

• Apply your mining expertise to solve complex planning and operational challenges.

• Lead and contribute to customer projects, presentations and technical demonstrations.

• Provide input into Deswik software improvements, including scoping and testing new features

What you will bring

• 5+ years’ experience as a Mining Engineer, with strong mine planning, design, scheduling or technical services experience.

• Underground mining experience is preferred; however strong open pit candidates will also be considered.

• A relevant Engineering, Mining or related technical degree.

• Strong communication skills and the confidence to work directly with customers and provide technical solutions.
