Join Deswik as our Product Manager for Deswik MDM, to shape the future of our workflow management solution for mine planning data to enable teams to store, maintain and manage a mine’s critical processes and data across teams.
This role is open following an internal promotion and you will be inheriting an established product, with an active customer base. You will lead the product lifecycle from strategy through to delivery, synthesizing context, defining roadmaps, prioritising development, and creating product to address customer and market signals.
Working closely with development teams, customers, regional sales, marketing and professional services stakeholders, you’ll champion the product vision, define execution strategy and drive the product to deliver valuable customer outcomes.
We’re looking for someone with strong mining industry knowledge, experience with mining software, and a passion for building solutions that make a real impact for customers.
Delivering tangible solutions to reduce risk and improve productivity in the mining industry.
Turning customer insight, industry trends and competitor intelligence into clear product direction.
Identify product gaps, new opportunities, and improvements that enhance customer value for MDM while creating broader value across Deswik’s product suite.
Own the product roadmap and align it to Deswik’s strategic goals.
Lead product design and development in partnership with consulting and software teams.
Be the connective tissue across development, sales, consulting, marketing, and regional teams, with a sharp focus on adoption of new capabilities and technologies.
Strong innovation, stakeholder engagement and ability to define a path to success in the presence of ambiguity.
3+ years experience or exposure to mine planning, automation or operations, or exposure to other resources industries.
2+ years experience in product management, preferably in software or technology sectors strongly desired.
Proven project management experience.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results.
Passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
Tertiary qualifications in a technical discipline (an advantage, but not essential).
