Working with our high-performing Consulting Team, you will:
Apply your open pit mining knowledge across a variety of customers, commodities, mine types and operations
Build advanced capability in Deswik’s mine planning software and use it to support practical engineering outcomes
Support customers with open pit mine design, scheduling, optimisation, implementation and workflow improvement
Develop, support and deliver training for Deswik customers as they adopt and mature their use of our tools
Work alongside highly experienced engineers, geologists, software developers and consultants

What you need to succeed:
Degree in Mining Engineering or a related discipline
Experience as a Mining Engineer in open pit mining environments
Strong understanding of open pit mine planning, design, scheduling and operational constraints
An interest in developing specialist capability in Deswik software and applying technology to improve mining outcomes
Experience with mine planning software; Deswik experience is a distinct advantage but not essential
A consulting mindset, including curiosity, problem solving capability and confidence working with customers
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
A passion for innovation, continuous learning and sharing knowledge with others
