Lead the next stage of growth for a global mining software leader. Indonesia is one of Deswik’s fastest growing markets. We are seeking a Country Manager who can accelerate our growth, strengthen customer value, and build a high-performing local team.
Deswik is used by more than 1,330 operations worldwide. Our tools are created by mining engineers for mining engineers, supported by consulting, training, and a global network of more than 200 technical specialists. Indonesia is a strategic region with strong demand and significant opportunity.

You will take responsibility for an established customer base with clear room for expansion. Your leadership will influence how Indonesian mining operations adopt modern planning tools, improve efficiency, and build long term partnerships with Deswik.
What you will lead
Commercial Growth
• Drive business development and key account management.
• Convert market demand and referrals into structured and sustainable growth.
• Increase customer value through cross-selling and additional product adoption.
Customer Outcomes
• Oversee delivery of software, consulting, and services.
• Manage utilisation and delivery performance with a practical commercial approach.
• Ensure engagements are well scoped, well executed, and centred on customer outcomes.
People and Culture
• Lead and grow the PT Deswik Software Indonesia team.
• Build a culture of trust, performance, and collaboration supported by emotional intelligence.
Country Operations
• Manage core operational functions including the office, administration, vendors, and basic financial oversight.
• Oversee the practical application of Indonesian employment law.
• Coordinate local marketing activities, events, and industry engagement in partnership with the Territory Manager and group Marketing team.

What you bring
- Leadership and Emotional Intelligence
- Proven experience leading a growing business or country operation in Indonesia.
- Ability to lead diverse teams with clarity, empathy, and high standards.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and business proficiency in English is essential.
- Commercial and Technical Credibility
- Strong capability in business development and account management.
- Mining industry experience is essential. Experience in mine planning or mining software is highly regarded.
- Ability to engage credibly with senior mining stakeholders.
- Industry Alignment
- Experience in one or more of the following:
- Open pit coal, nickel, copper, gold
- Mine planning, technical services, or mining software environments
- Role Requirements
- Based in Jakarta with flexibility for office and remote work.
- Willingness to travel around 40 percent.
- Indonesian Citizenship to perform the statutory responsibilities of the role.
