and we’re looking for a technically savvy Key Account Manager to own and expand a diverse portfolio of mining customers nationally.
In this role, you’ll grow the sales pipeline, manage and retain accounts whilst building trusted, long‑term relationships with senior stakeholders across the mining industry.
  
You’ll represent and sell a suite of our industry‑leading Deswik software products, used daily by mine planners, engineers, geologists, surveyors and operational teams across the mine planning value chain. Working at the intersection of technology and operations, you’ll support both technical and operational solutions, helping customers unlock greater value, efficiency, and performance from their mining operations.
  

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own and grow relationships with a portfolio of key mining customers across APAC
  • Develop the sales pipeline both with new and current customers, prepare proposals, and negotiate commercial agreements
  • Partner with customer stakeholders — from site technical teams through to executives, you will help customers maximise value from their existing investments and build long-term partnerships
  • Support the delivery of high‑quality software implementations and consulting services
  • Apply Deswik technology (including enterprise solutions) to solve complex mining problems
  • Manage customer issues proactively and professionally
  • Collaborate globally with 100+ mining consultants and technical sales specialists
  • Travel domestically and internationally as required to support customers

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience in sales or key account management within complex, enterprise environments
  • A technical background in Mining Engineering, Geology, Surveying, or similar
  • Significant mining industry experience in technical or operational roles
  • Strong commercial acumen and confidence in complex negotiations
  • Deep understanding of site operations and mine planning challenges
  • Ability to connect people, processes, and technology to deliver real value
  • Strong EQ and IQ — you’re trusted, reliable, and outcomes-focused
  • A passion for continuous improvement and doing things better than yesterday
  • Comfort with technology and the ability to clearly articulate the value of software solutions
  • Experience with Deswik tools is highly regarded
